127 This Indenture agreement made by and between Patience Crandall & Elizabeth Edwards on the one part, and Samuel Crandall Oliver Crandall George N. Crandall on the other part, all of Citizens in the County of Washington & State of Rhode Island to wit That whereas, Oliver Crandall etc had by Indenture made by him by his late Wife Dame Patience Crandall and Oliver Crandall etc had by Indenture made by him by his late Wife Dame Patience Crandall and by the said Patience Crandall etc did give and grant the rights and privileges of the said third part Whereas the said Patience Crandall etc did give and grant the rights and privileges of the said third part by Deed of Gift that Entire Interest in her Natural Life & age has been bequeathed to Elizabeth Edwards in the [illegible] (known as the) Common commonly called the Great Meadow from the stone wall to the river and the remaining South the said Samuel Crandall hereby agrees to the parties further as follows, that is to wit, the said Samuel Crandall shall maintain and keep the Fence through on the said Great Meadow, and to keep Crandall agree to keep the same and to build her
