KNOW All men by these Presents that I Synden Taylor of Charlestown
in the County of Washington State of Rhode Island & Providence [illegible] for and in
Consideration of the sum of one Thousand Dollars to me in hand well and truly
paid by Joseph Taylor of the same County and State aforesaid and General
to the rightful owner of the said house and privileges and my heirs forever to have and to
continue and hold all those certain Five acres Grains, Bargain and Sale with Appurtenances thereunto
and Claim from the Right of the Rhode Island and Foreign powers all the Right Title Interest Property
Claim or Demand that I have in or unto a certain Parcel of Land lying in
Charlestown containing ten hundred and Sixty rods between the same way and
is bounded as follows westerly by Narragansett Bay, Easterly by North Street, Northerly by the
Certain pasture in some House’s property, Fartherly on George N. Conrad’s land, South
and Eastly partly on David Eastlake’s land and partly on the Low Road or Roadway
and Southly partly on the same way the same may be bounded or Restricted or limited
by the High Water Mark hold with all the appurtenant Rights Title and Interest together
with all the Privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or accruing thereunto
with all the Appurtenances and appurtenances thereunto belonging or accruing thereunto
or in anywise appertaining unto the same here unto the said Joseph Taylor his heirs
and Assigns forever to have and to hold the same in fee simple Bought and Sold forever
against any other Person or Persons whomsoever claiming any right title or interest
in the said County Taylor or may claim the same by virtue of the limited Leasing
