63 Know All men by their Presents that I St Nicholas Clarke of Charlestown in the County of Washington State of Rhode Island & Providence Plantations Geaman, in Consideration of the Sum of Eight Pounds Currency Dollars to me in hand paid by Henry Clarke & Joshua Clarke of the Town County and State aforesaid the Pursuant writing I do hereby acknowledge to be paid full and complete payment for the following Land lying and Being in the Town County and State aforesaid Bounded on the North by the land of [illegible] the west corner more or less buffered bounded Town boundary on the West by the land of [illegible] bounded on the South by the land of [illegible] and on the East by the West Most part of the Estate of George Thorne late of said Town boundedly on the East part and until it come to the land owned by Peter Thorne said land being boundedly on the East by land of Peter Thorne until it come to the wall bounding the town boundary boundedly on the South on land owned with whom the first continuation walls were first placed through Middlely by it bounded boundary on the East on the land of [illegible] it come to the first mentioned boundary. Now therefore I do grant and release unto the granted and his heirs forevermore free from all encumbrances whatsoever forever. And I Wind and Nicholas Clarke do request my Hon Executor and Administra tor to convey and deliver to Henry the above mentioned Premises to the said Henry & Joshua Clarke their heirs and assigns forever in the same manner as I have given and promised said Premises Clarke dated above about one month before my Delivery at age 82 years and late and [illegible] Signed Sealed and Delivered in presence of Samuel Stanton Samuel Stanton Nicholas Clarke [signature] Deposited in Charlestown Washington Co On the first day of December 1823 1823 1824 by Mr at Charlestown appeared in person Approved Nicholas Clarke and acknowledged said Deed dated above about one month before his Delivery at age 82 years and late and [illegible] Samuel Stanton J. Clerk Indenture of Sale made this twenty day of February 1824 by and between Benjamin Burdick of Charlestown County of Washington State of Rhode Island & Providence on the one part and Ephraim Burdick free mason Carpenter in the County of Washington in the State of Rhode Island & Providence on the other part Witnesseth that the said Benjamin Burdick doth Sell and convey to the said Ephraim Burdick his heirs and assigns forever all that piece of Land lying and Being in Charlestown in the County of Washington in the State of Rhode Island & Providence being the same more or less as follows bounded
