40 Know all Men by these Presents, that I Reuben Burdick be of Charlestown in the County of Washington State of Rhode Island a Freeman for and in Consideration of the sum of one Hundred and Seventy five Dollars to me in hand well and truly paid by Legustus Burdick and Charles Burdick sons of the said County and State aforesaid upon me the receipt hereof i do hereby acknowledge, and do with the
