37 To All People to whom these Presents shall come Greeting. Know ye That I Joseph Rhodes of Charlestown in the County of Washington in and State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantation gentleman for and in Consideration of the sum of five pounds Sterling paid to me in hand before delivery of the premises by Augustus G. Lewis of the same town and by me in good and lawful Money and true paid by Augustus G. Lewis the said sum of five pounds Sterling quaint receipt hereof which receipt I acknowledge by knowledge myself henceforth fully satisfied contented and paid have given grant bargain and sell and by these Presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Augustus G.
