All to all men by these Presents Know That I John Gorton of Narragansett on the County of Newport State of Rhode Island For Consideration of Eighteen on Hundred Dollars Dollar paid one by John Gorton of Charlestown on the County of Washington in the same state, the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge to Grant Give Grant Bargain Sell and convey unto the said John Gorton his Heirs and Assigns forever One Quarter part of One Furlong out of Parcel of Land situated & lying in Narragansett on the County of Newport state and Ward above mentioned a Charlestown in the County of Washington in said state a most convenient being in the said Lot Lot part One Quarter part One hundred acres bounded as follows: bordering on the Highway north and North easterly on the said Highway and Easterly on bordering on the said Lot of John Gorton his Heirs and Assigns westerly on the Highway westerly Lot of a certain Body of land belonging to G. V. and Southerly on the Highway westerly Lot of a certain Body of land bounded as follows: Northerly on the Highway westerly on the land of a certain Body of land and Easterly on the Highway and Southerly on the land of a certain Body of land One hundred acres the same more or less. To Have And To hold the said Grant and Bargained Premises with all the and appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said John Gorton his Heirs and Assigns forever to him and his Heirs and Assigns by body of power and the said John Gorton for myself my Heirs executors and administrators declare to do covenant that the said John Gorton his Heirs and Assigns shall and lawfully have and hold right have good right to Inhabiting that they are free of all Common burdens taxes and rates have good right to Sell and convey the same to the said John Gorton his Heirs and Assigns and shall and for will warrant and defend the same to the said John Gorton his Heirs and Assigns forever against the lawfull claims and demands of all persons whomsoever for the consideration aforesaid Rhode Island Gorton unto the said John Gorton his Heirs and do remise release and quit claim all my right title and interest in the said Lot of land unto the aforesaid Assigns all my right of Power and Power of thirds in and unto the aforesaid described Premises.
