To All People to whom these presents Shall come Greeting: Shall come: I Robert of Charlestown,
County of Washington Geoman, Send Greeting: Know ye That I the said Robert Hazard
for the Love and God will that I have and do hear by to my sons Jeffery Hazard, and his
Hazard Jr. The Receipt hereof I do hereby Acknowledge do hereby Convey Grant Make
and Convey unto the said Jeffery and Robert their Heirs & Assigns forever, Equally to
divided between them according To Quantity and Quality of said Piece bastion tract of land
one of which contains by Estimation Ninety acres and one half acres, be the same More
Less and a bounded as follows to wit: Westerly on Indian Land, Southeasterly partly on old
Land and partly on Land of Caleb Kenyon, Easterly partly on old of Caleb Kenyon & partly
on Indian land, and Northerly, on the Highway, or However Otherwise the same may
be bounded or reputed to be bounded the Whole that Certain Piece of Land are and is
bounded Easterly on a Highway, Northerly on Land of Samuel Kenyon, Westerly partly on
of Saml Kenyon and partly on Land of Caleb Kenyon, and Southerly on Land of
Stephenson Wooder, both of this State living & being in Charlestown on the County
of Washington. To Have & To Hold the said granted & conveyed premises with the
Conveigences & Appurtenances thereof unto the said Jeffery & Robert their Heirs &
Assigns forever; And I the said Robert Hazard for myself my Heirs Executors and Admin
istrators do Covenant with the said Jeffery and Robert their Heirs & Assigns forever that he
fully Seized in fee of the Premises the aforesaid that they are free of all Incumbrances that I Have assigned
to sell & Convey the same to the said Jeffery & Robert as aforesaid; And I shall fully
Warrant and defend the same to the said Jeffery & Robert their Heirs & Assigns forever Against
the Lawfull Claims and demands of All persons claiming same, by or under me
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 14th Day of March
in the year of Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred & Eighteen. - - - 1818
