To all people to whom these presents shall Come Greeting Know ye That I the sd Robert of Charlestown in the County of Washington in ye state of Rhode Island Greeting Know ye That I the sd Robert Hazard for and in consideration of the sum of Three Thousand dollars in Hand before the Enacting hereof With me and my trusty friends paid by Joshua Hazard of North Kingstown in the County aforesaid whose Receipt witness of which I do hereby acknowledge and agree in the same fully Satisfied contented paid and paid and Thing and of any past and present these my covenants agreements and discharges lining the sd Joshua Hazard his Heirs Assigns Executors and administrators forever by these presents Make grant bargain sell alienate infeyoff conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do fully sellly and Absolutely give grant beque sign sell alienate convey and assign unto the sd Joshua Hazard his Heirs his Assigns his Heirs but certain Tract of land and parcel of land lying and being in the Town of Charlestown operating bounded by State water one hundred Acres in the Same name or Lot bounded as follows beginning at a first Stone marking upon the south side of the bounding Road which is the Northwester corner of said farm and from thence East Eighty five acres and a half degree North with the Road state chains to a Stake and from thence North east ninety nine degrees West between chains and forty eight links to a Stake and from thence East forty three perches and a half degree North thirty three chains and forty eight links to a Stake of White Cedar East fourteen degrees South three chains and Eighteen links to a Stake of White Cedar East forty degree North three chains and forty four links to a Stake White Cedar moved Thence North fifteen degrees west three chains ninety four chains and ninety links toward the lake and from Thence North fifteen degrees west three chains forty four chains ninety links to a Stake marked with the same Above it and from there South forty five degrees East three chains and forty four links with it fromes to the Country Road to the first mentioned bound Boundary Northwesterly partly by the Road and partly by land called the Country Road Eastesterly by Land of Edward Wilcox Northwesterly partly by the road Westwardly by the Land and Westerly by the Land of Christopher G Allen the same land or Traverse the same may be bounded by the same Land the sd Robert Hazard bought of Benjamin Hazard’s Estate and to the said Granted and bargained premises with all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging and Convenant to the same belonging or in any way Appertaining to the said Joshua Hazard his Heirs and Assigns forever to his Heirs and their only proper Use Benefit and Profit of forever Ind the sd Robert Hazard for myself and for my heirs Assigns and Administrators do Covenant and promise to the sd Joshua Hazard his Heirs his Heirs and Assigns that before at and before the Enclosing days from the True and lawful Owner of the Above bargained premises and Lawfully Read and possessor of the same in mine own proper Right as a good right and Absolute title of Inheritance in fee Simple and that he may in right full power and lawful Authority to Grant bargain sell convey and Confirm the said ground premises in manner as aforesaid And that the sd Joshua Hazard his Heirs and Assigns shall have and may from time to time and at all times forever quieted by these and by Virtue of these presents fully peacefully and Quietly have free and Lawfully have the same forever and Assign the said premises and bargain premises with all the Appurtenances free and clear and fully and Clearly Augmented Liberated and a cleared of all and from all and any manner of Tenures or other Gifts Grants Bargains Sales Leases Assigns etc Endowments Jointures Dowries Engagements Expectations and Incumbrances of what Name or Nature however that might in any measure or Degree Detract or make void this present Deed And I the sd Robert Hazard for myself and for my heirs their Executors and Administrators do Covenant and promise the Above promised premises to the sd Joshua Hazard his Heirs and Assigns forever

369 The lawful Claims or demands of any person or Persons Whatsoever forego to Warrant Seizure and by these presents. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Affixed my Seal & Certificate aforesaid this twentyfourth day of January D 1818 Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Iha Church Stephen Griffin Robt Haraud (of pr) (L.S) Washington Co [illegible] January 26 1818 Personally Came January 29 1818 (M) Mr Robert Haraud (of pr) Subscriber to the within Instrument for And Acknowledged the Same to be his own Voluntary act and Samuel Stanton (L.S) Deed set his hand & Seal thereunto affixed before me Iha Church Justice Peace KNOW all men by these presents that I Robert Haraud (of pr) of Charleston in the of Washington georgia on Consideration of the Sum of six hundred dollars paid one by John Heraud of Madeira in Madeira in the County of Savannah, the Receipt whereof I do hereby Acknow Ledge do hereby remise release and forever Demise Quit claim unto the said Johns his Heirs and Assigns forever all the Right title and Interest property Claim Challenge and demand that I have or am to have (one Certain lot of town Lot) in Charleston aforesaid contain ing by Estimation fully four rods or more Boundaries as follows beginning at a Stake and heap of Stones near Coastal Road running South East 42 degs and a Quarter to a Stake and heap of Stones by the County Road and from there Southeast as the Road runs One hundred and twenty Eight Rods to a Stake with Stone around it from there N 14 degs 40 Rods to a Fence with a Cake Tree marked as one side from there South 80 degs 12 Rods to a heap of Stones from there al 75 degs 12 Rods to a Stake and from there Southeast eight Rods to the first mentioned line or or however otherwise bounding the Same the Same Lot of Georgia of john Chapman to this by Deed will Appear to have and to Hold the said premises his inherited premises with all the advantages or appurtenances Thereof to him the said john his Heirs and Assigns forever to his use and his heirs and whose heirs and I the said Robert for me my Heirs Executors and Administrators do Covenant to do with the Said john his Heirs and Assigns that I am seised of these premises that they are for me unencumbered and that I will Warrant the said inherited premises against any Claim the said john his Heirs and Assigns and hereby forever bar myself my Heirs Executors and Administrators from all Claim to the Same In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal at Charleston aforesaid the twentyfourth day of January in the year 1818 Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Iha Church Stephen Griffin Robt Haraud (of pr) (L.S) Recorded Jan 29th 1818 by Samuel Stanton Washington Co [illegible] Charleston January 26th 1818 Personally Appeared the aforesaid Robert Haraud of Georgia and Ad Acknowledged the aforesaid instrument to be his Voluntary act and Deed and set his Seal thereunto affixed before me Iha Church Justice Peace O.
