365 Know all Men by these Presents That I Robert Moon of Charlestown in Washington County and State of Rhodeisland and Providence Plantation, Yeoman. In Consideration of the Sum of fortythree Dollars and twentyfive Cents paid me by Joseph Coope of Charlestown in Washington County and State of Rhodeisland and Providence Plantation, Yeoman. The Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge to have Given Grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the said Joseph Coope his heirs and Assigns forever promise to Convey Certain Tract or Parcel of Land lying in Charlestown in Washington County Containing by Estimation Thirty acres be it the same more or less and is Bounded as follows Westtherly on and of Joshua Conds and Easttherly on and of Joshua Cond Norththerly and Easttherly on and of Christopher Case Midlotly on the Paquette Land To have And to hold the said Grant and Bargain Premises with the Privileges and Appurtenances thereof to him the said Joseph Coope his Heirs and Assigns forever in the said Robert Moon for myself my Heirs Executors and Administrators to Convenant with the said Joseph Coope his heirs and Assigns That I am lawfully Seised in fee of the Premises That they are free of all claims and Incumbrances That I have good Right to sell and Convey the Same to the said Joseph Coope his heirs and assigns and That I will Warrant and defend the Same to the said Joseph Coope his Heirs and assigns forever Against the Lawfull Claims and demands of all Persons Signed forever Against the Lawfull Claims and demands of all Persons Provided Nevertheless that if the said Robert Moon his heirs Executors or Administrators or any of them Shall will and dealy pay me in Cash To be paid to the said Joseph Coope his heirs Executors and Administrators the said Sum of fortythree Dollars and Twentyfive Cents with Lawfull Interest or be before the first day of January Next ensuing the date hereof then This Deed page also and Every part thereof be Void and of none effect or Else to Remain in full force and virtue Now Therefore in Witness whereof I hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 10th day of No vember A.D. 1797 Signed Sealed and delivered Robert Moon L.S. in presence of Joshua Case ye Justice peace Elisha Grossman Washington Co.
