Know all men by these presents that I Robert moon in town of charleston
in the County of Washington State of Rhodeisland in Consideration
of the sum of one Hundred & nine Dollars & five cents paid to me
by John C House of Charlestown in the County of Washington State
of Rhodeisland the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge to have given
Grant bargain sell & convey unto the said John C House his Heirs and
assigns forever a certain lot or parcel of Land situate in the Town of
Charlestown Containing by our estimation Thirty rods Area be the same more
or Less with a Dwelling house Thereon Standing and is bounded as follows
viz beginning at the northeast Corner of john Cards land whereas at
Great oak from there turning 20 E.d north to a Heap of Stones on
john Cards land from there westerly twenty to a Stone heap on
john Cards land that was formerly john Cards land northerly fifty rods to a
Stone heap on land that was the J john Cards land and by a Stone wall
on J land there running by said wall forty rods to a Cherry Tree which
is on the J john Cards land from there running Twenty Three rods
northerly to a Stone heap on the J john Cards land and there running
easterly to john Cards bound on the Prequests road then running
southerly to J john Cards land to the first mentioned bound
To Have and to hold the said Granted and bargained Premises with
the Priviledges and Appurtenances thereunto to him the J john C House
his heirs and assigns forever to his own use and behalf forever
and I the J Robert moon for myself my Heirs executors and Ad-
ministrators do Covenant with the J john C House his Heirs and
Assigns That I and my Lawfully Succeeded in fee of the Premises not
they are free of all Incumbrances That have Good right to hold and
convey the same to the J john C House to hold as Owner and
That I will warrant and defend the same to the J john C House his
Heirs and assigns forever against all Lawfull Claims and demands
of all persons
Provided nevertheless that if the J Robert moon or my heirs
Executors or Administrators shall well and Truly pay to the J
john C House his heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns, the
full and just sum of one Hundred & nine Dollars and five cents on
or before the fourth day of june one thousand Eight Hundred and eighteen
then this Deed as also a Certain note bearing Even date with these
presents Given by me to the said John C House conditioned to pay
the sum there written at the Time aforesaid shall be null Void and of no
remains in full force & Virtue In Witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of june 1807

and foregoing instrument and Acknowledged
Same to be his free voluntary act and Deed had
and Seal before me

To All People to whom these presents shall Come Greetings know ye That
Daniel Pierce of Charlestown in the County of Washington and State of Rhode Island
yeoman; send Greetings know ye that I the said Daniel Pierce for and in Consideration
of the Sum of four hundred and fifty Dollars Current Money to me in hand paid
before the Execution hereof the Receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge and myself
therewith fully satisfied Contented and paid by Abraham Moon his Heirs and Assigns of Charlestown in the
County of Washington and the State of Rhode Island yeoman I have Granted Conveyed
and Confirmed and do by these presents fully Grant and Solemnly Give Grant Convey
and Confirm unto the said Abraham Moon his Heirs and Assigns forever
One Certain Tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in Charlestown aforesaid
Containing by Estimation Eighty three acres be the same more or less
With a House and Barn Work Shop there Standing in and Bounded as
followeth; Beginning at the Southeast Corner of the Gorton Land and called
Southeast Corner of this Tract of land from thence Northerly as the wall now
stands until it Comes to Christopher Saunders land from thence a westerly way
about four rods until it Comes to Elizabeth Johnson Southeast Corner to a
wall from there a westerly course until it comes to fourth Lyne's land
from there Southerly until it Comes to a Stone about which it abuts on the
southeast Corner of Elizabeth Johnson land with a Stone and Stone about it
from there a Westerly Course about four rods to Daniel David's land Northeast Corner
from there Southerly until it comes to a Whitash Birch marked on four sides
Which is the southeast Corner of this field of land from there Easterly until
it Comes to a Stone heap made on a Corner of a great field from there North easterly
four rods until it Comes to Oliver Howard's Northeast Corner from there an Easterly
Course until it Comes to the first mentioned bound; So Bounded Easterly by
the Gorton Land and called Northerly partly on Christopher Saunders land partly on
Elizabeth Johnson land and partly on Sarah Gorton's land Westerly partly on
Fourth Lyne's land partly on Elizabeth Johnson land and partly on Daniel David
land Southerly and Easterly on Oliver Howard's land to the first mentioned bound
however Otherwise bounded or Reputed to be bounded Together with all and
