Know all Men by these presents that I Paul Card of
Charlestown in Washington County and State of Rhode Island and Providence
Plantation Gentleman I caused valuation of the sum of Ten Dollars to me
Hard to wit and well paid by Robert Moon of Charlestown in Washing
ton County and state of Rhode Island Yeoman for the consideration I the here
after named have granted released and forever Quit Claimed and
bodily by these presents remise release and forever Quit Claim all right title and
the said Robert Moon has acquired aforesaid forever One hundred by
of a certain Lot of land Lying on Charlestown containing by
Determination forty Acres in the whole be the same more or less and
is bounded as follows Beginning at a Great black Drawing Spruce
bands land and the South East corner Bounded by & Det Same North 26
Rods to house of James s Danies & Charlestown Cards land Bounded on the side
Joshua Cards land True westerly 26 1/2 Rods to house of James Danies
5 1/4 Rods North to Charlestown Cards Doorway Bounded on the Christening
Cards True North West 40 Rods to a white Spruce True south 20 Rods along
Moon True westerly 19 1/2 Rods to August and Joshua Cards land Bounded
bounding east Cards line 20 Rods and 20 Rods to Moon True Easterly go back
to the first mentioned Spruce.
To have and to hold the same parcels Part of the same together
with all the Privileges and Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the
said Robert Moon in fee simple and aforesaid forever.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 21
Day of January A.D. 1817
