277 Know all Men by these Presents that the William Cud Solely Card Both of Charlestown in Washington County and State of Rho d Island and Providence Plantations Yeoman for and in Consideration of the sum of four hundred and fifty Dollars to us in hand well and truly paid by Elisha Grinneman of Charlestown in Washington County and State aforesaid Yeoman the Receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge and thank them fully satisfied contented and paid do hereby give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Elisha Grinneman his heirs and assigns forever a certain Parcel of Land lying in Charlestown in Washington County and State Of Rhode Island and Providence Plantation Containing By Estimation one lot and acre across to the same more or less and is Bounded as follows Beginning at the middle of a Brook where Horse Shoe Bend is and then Flowing land from gether There Easterly and Easterly as laid out Means to Augustland Plot there bounded on the East to the Adjacent owners land then There Westerly about 50 Links land to the third Bounded brook or Brook To have and to hold the said granted and Bargained Premise With the Privileges and appurtenances there of to the him the said Elisha Grinneman his Heirs and assigns forever to his and them use and be it held forever To his and their use and be it held forever Amen And We the said William Cud and Solely Card for our selves our heirs Executors and Administrators to do covenant with the said Elisha Grinneman his heirs and assigns that we and our lawfully Successors of the same as that they are free of all incumbrances that we have Good Right Sell and convey the same to the said Elisha Grinneman to hold as a fee simple and that we will warrant and oppose the same to the said Elisha Grinneman his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all Persons and especially Martha wife of the said William Card and Sonia Card wife of the said Solely Card for the consideration above written Yeap and furthermore Our Right of dower and Power of Thirds of and to the Before Desired and Bargained Premise unto him the said Elisha Grinneman his heirs and assigns forever Any more and over for the consideration also of one Dollar to me paid By Elisha Grinneman after this said Receipt where of I do Here by acknowledge and do by these presents Quit and Surrender all my Right of dower and Power of Thirds of and to the Before Desired and Bargained Premise unto him him the said Elisha Grinneman his heirs and assigns forever To her Witness Where of we have here ante set our hands and affixed our Seale this Ninth day of June one thousand Eight hundred and sixteen Signed Sealed and Delivered

Personally appear'd the within Named William Card and Dancas Card his Wife and Mary Card widow signers and sealers to the written and preceding instrument and acknow ledged the same to be their free Voluntarily act and deed hands and seals there to affect for purposes then in Contained Before Joshua Card Justice Peace Know all Men By these presents that I Jonas Benjamin Midwife of Northtown in the County of Washington State of Rhode Island & Oman in consideration of the Sum of twenty five dollars paid to me by Lyman Card of Charlestown County of Washington and his Heirs aforesaid labours the receipt whereof I hereby Acknowledge in full have give grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the said Lyman Card his heirs and Assignees forever One Certain tract of Lot of Land situate in the Town of Charlestown containing by Estimation one Acre One Quarter and Thirty Rods and is bounded as follows first Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Highway land by Ruth Paine True Line on the side of the 4th Path through S. 20. J. ft. 7 p. 25. to Danny Perry M. G. Corner in a straight route through E. 1. 10. ft. take Highway at the junction of the N. E. Corner, thence Westward bounding North westerly by D. h. highway N. 49. h. ft. then South westward Four Poles I reserve also to the Grantee the rights for the Digging and drainage Premises lutte the Privileges and Appurtenances thereto belonging inside him the Relinquish Dancas his heirs and Assignees forever to be his and his heirs and behes forever And I the said Jonas Benjamin Midwife of my own free consent of D mind trade do covenant to the said Lyman Card his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in right of the Premises that they are free of all encumbrances that I have good right to sell and convey the same [symbol]
