Joshua Card for Justice Peace Recorded May 28th AD 1813 by Rely Groff Town Clerk Know all Men by these Presents that we Samuel Crandall and Matthias Crandall both of inhabitants of the town of Westerly and State of Rhode Island and Providence Dep and in Consideration of five hundred Dollars to us in hand well and Truly paid by Ethan Crandall of the same Town county and State aforesaid and whereas the Deed aforesaid is to our full Satisfaction and Contract have given warranty acknowledged and there fore do give Grant Bargain sell Will fully and Absolutely Convey and convey unto the sd Ethan Crandall his Heirs and assigns forever our certain Lot or lot of Land situate lying and being in the Town of Rhode Island aforesaid Containing by Estimation Survey being as the same were more or Less 4 a $\&$ Bottle $\&$ Boundaries followeth Viz Beginning at the Northeast Corner of this Lot and a North east Corner of Magis George $\times$ Hazard Land from thence Running South westerly and Easterly bounded westerly and southerly by the road George $\times$ Hazard's land until it comes to Thomas Nesbitt's line thence North westerly bounded Easterly by the said Thomas Nesbitt's line to his North west Corner from thence westerly a Straight Line to the first mentioned bound and bounds Northerly by the Gammels Land to the first mentioned Bounds To have and to hold the above conveyed premises together with all the Appurtenances there fore fully and Absolutely Convey and convey unto him the sd Ethan Crandall his Heirs and assigns as an Absolute Quite of Inheritance in fee Simple Forever $\&$ we the said Samuel $\&$ Matthias Crandall for our Selves our Heirs Executors or Administrators Do Covenant and engage the above Devised Premises to the said Ethan Crandall his Heirs and assigns Forever

183 Cross all men by these presents that I promised Nothethele North notwithstanding any thing before written in this Deed that this Mortgage is it the True intent and Meaning that Their Present Deed in the [illegible] of the Mortgage Crundall Hereafter upon Condition that of the above named Samuel Crandall or his heirs and Lawfully Appointed Heirs Matthias Crandall for themselves or their Heirs Executors or assigns full and in the first half part of the Administrators shall well and Truly pay or Cause to be paid in full the one half part of the one half part of the Administrators shall well and Truly pay or Cause to be paid Mortgage Note by which said [illegible] state that the said Ethan Crandall as to his Lawful Representatives and to the said Crandall his Heirs in full and just Sum of five Hundred Dollars to be paid on or after the [illegible] by these presents before the Monday of January as Thousand Eight Hundred and twenty eight being of the year Eighteen hundred and twenty eight with the Lawful Interest thereon arriving from the said 15th day of April 1827 Date until paid full and finally paid which Sum as above mentioned being all and any Part then this Present Deed in Every article and Clause therein Contained to cease to be in and of any effect but on failure of Payment as above specified to be in Remainder in full force and Virtue For Which witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands to Official seals this 15th Day of January AD 1828 Signed Sealed and Delivered In Presence of George W. Clerk Court Samuel Bliven Justice Peace Know all Men by these presents That I Polly Crandall of Charlestown in the county of washington and State of Rhode Island daughter and Daughter of the Honored Father M Samuel Crandall Late of Sd Charlestown Deceased and Lawful Heir to the Eleventh part of Two Certain tracts or Tracts of Land situate lying in every partly in the Sd Town of Charlestown and a Small part in the town of Westerly the first Lot lying all in Sd Charlestown Containing by Estimation Seventy Acres be the same more or less and is bounded as follows on [illegible] Eastly by a highway Easterly by boundary Easterly by names [illegible] Land Southwesterly by George W. Hazard Land and Westerly by Ephraim Burdick Land to the said Sum bordering the other East North is situate Lying partly in Charlestown and partly in Westerly and is bounded Eastly and Contains by Estimation Seventy Acres be the same more or less and is bounded as follows on [illegible] Eastly by a highway Westerly by Sd Land bordering to the Land of Christopher, Babcock & Late of Sd Westerly Deceased Westerly by Stephen Planters Land and Northerly partly by Ephraim Burdick Land and partly by Robert Burdick Land to the said
