To all People to Whom these presents shall Come Greeting
Know that I Joseph Stanton qr of Charlestown in Washington County State of
Rhode Island & Providence Plantations do for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred
and fifty Dollars to me in hand well and truly paid by Robert Moon of
Hopkinton in said County and State aforesaid the Receipt whereof I
do hereby Acknowledge Have and by these presents Release and forever
Quit Claime What Right have the sd Robert Moon his Heirs and assigns forever unto
right title Interest that Slave in my own Possession called Enter into our parcel of
Land Estate in the town of Charlestown and Enclosed by Determination more
to the More clear or less it is bounded as follows Beginning at the
Northeastern Corner of [illegible] bounds Eastward in a great Book from there
one hundred twenty and North to a heap of Stone on sd Graves lands from there
one hundred Twenty Do to a Stone heap on Land that was formerly known as Corns
there Northward fifty One to a Stone heap on Land that was the sd John End
and by a blaze white On the sd Graves land and thence on moving by sd wall
forty rods to a Cherry Tree fixed on the sd John End lands from there
one hundred Twenty East Southward to a Stone heap on the sd John End lands
thence one hundred Ninety Westward to sd Graves bounds On the Request had there
one hundred eighty Westward in sd Graves land to the first mentioned bounds.
To have and to hold all the above Named and Just Claimed premises
together with all and singular the Privileges and Appurtenances to the same belong
or may in any after Coming belong unto the sd Robert Moon his Heirs and assigns
forever And I the sd Joseph Stanton qr do Covenant and agree for myself
my Heirs Executors Administrators forever to convey release and deliver
Claime unto him the sd Robert Moon his Heirs and Assigns all the rights
and title that I have in the Above Described Premises And Any Other
state of the said Joseph Stanton qr as well for the Consideration above mentioned
hereby quit and Surrender all her right of Owner and premises out of him
and that the before Described and Claimed Premises out from the
Robert Moon his Heirs and Assigns forever
In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our Hands and Seals the 24th Day
of March AD 1803.
