Know all Men by these presents that we lailey Card of Charlestown
in Washington County State of Rhode Island to Yeoman & Dorcas Card wife of the
said lailey Card in rt right of the sd Dorcas Card Do for and in Consideration of the
Sum of Ten Dollars to us in hand well and truly paid by Joseph Stanton gd of
Charlestown in Washington County and State aforesaid Yeoman the receipt whereof
one Do hereby Acknowledge Have and by these presents remise release and forever have
Quit Claim unto the sd Joseph Stanton to his Heirs and Assigns forever all
right and title to and unto One Certain Lot or Piece of Land situated in the sd
Charlestown Containing by Estimation Thirty Acres be the same more or Less with a Dwelling
House there on Standing and is bounded as follows Beginning at the Southeast of
Johan Card's Corner at a great rock from thence running westerly rods north a dwel
of Stones On sd Johans Cards Land from thence westerly Monthly rods from there to a Stake and having
Stones on Land that was formerly Johans Cards thence Northerly fifty rods to a Stone
heap on Land that was formerly the sd John Cards and by a Stone wall on the sd
lailey Cards Land and thence running by sd wall easterly to a Tree Close which is on the sd
John Cards Land and thence running by sd Tree easterly running Seventy rods Southeasterly to a Place marked On sd
John Cards Land thence westerly to Yeomans End Boundary on the Passageway Land
thence running Easterly On sd Cards Land to the first mentioned Boundres.
To have and to hold all the above described Premises released and Quit Claimed premises
together with all and singular the Appurtenances and Appurtenances to the same belonging &
on any move appertaining unto the sd Joseph Stanton for his Heirs and Assigns
forever and we the sd lailey Card and Dorcas Card only of the sd lailey Card in
Right of the sd Dorcas Card Covenant and Agree for our Selves Our Heirs Executors and
Administrators to relax and with the sd Joseph Stanton for his Heirs and Assigns forever
Hereafter to release and Quit Claim all our right and title to and unto the before
Desired and Bargained Premises unto the sd Joseph Stanton for his Heirs and
Assigns forever.
In Witness and Confirmation Thereof we have hereunto Set our hands and seals
this 10 Day of December in the Year 1812
