To all People to whom these presents shall come I Anna b hove body of Charlestown in the County of Washington State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Grant and Sell Greeting Know ye that I the aforesaid Anna b hove land for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred and seventy seven Dollars and fifty cents to be paid by me in hand before the sealing of these presents and fully paid by the aforesaid Thurgood hove of Charlestown in Washington county State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantation Governor The Trust whereof I do hereby acknowledge and confirm with the fully satisfaction constituted and paid that I hereby sell and convey part and parcel of those premises as follows to wit Beginning with the D aforesaid Thurgood hove plantation boundaries known by these presents have given Grant to foreground But and further adjusted and confirmed by these presents fully purely and Absolutely Gain grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm forever unto the D aforesaid Thurgood hove and his assigns forever those certain Premises for Every Land situated in the D aforesaid Thurgood hove and his assigns forever known as the bottom land for Every Land situated in Charlestown in Washington county State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantation containing Seven Acres Three quarters and a half the said land is bounded as follows to wit Beginning at a Stake and stone by the edge of the Road running East the first bound runs East of said Land Nine hundred Ninety One Degrees East running five hundred forty four feet to a heap of stones thence three hundred Sixty One Degrees North East eighty feet to a heap of stones continuing East the same line to the Table Rock the last bound East some of four feet to a heap stone & take by the edge of the Road bounded south ten Rods thence Easterly running upon the E End thirty Rods to the first stake land bound above Witness to hold the said grant bargain and premises with all the appurtenances Privileges and Conveniences thereunto belonging to the same appertaining to him the D aforesaid Thurgood hove his heirs and assigns forever this and these presents to witness hereof were and signed and delivered before me and the D aforesaid have laid for my seal my name signed and delivered in witness to covenant Promise and grant bargain and sell with the D aforesaid Thurgood hove his heirs and assigns that at and after the lawful entry of the lawful entry I am the true and lawful owner of the above bargain premises and am lawfully seized in fee and Apposed of the same in manner aforesaid full right sold and set Perfect and absolute entire in Substance in my single and have in my sole good right full Power and license in authority to Grant bargain sell Convey and confirm the said bargain premises in manner as aforesaid and that the D aforesaid Thurgood hove his heirs and assigns shall and may form tenure Time and at all times possess herself by the force and virtue of these presents lawfully Purely & Quietly free from all Encumbrances Pipes and enjoy the D premises and bargain premises both the appurtenances free and clear and free and clear and absolutely in heritage and Discharged and free from all and every all manner of claims as Other Gifts Grants bargain sales mortgages Hypothecs entails priorities Former surveys Bargains settlements and incumbrance of what name or Nature whatsoever that may in any manner Or Degree Obstruct or make void this Present Deed H Furthermore the said Anna b hove covenant my heirs executors and Administrators to covenant and engage the above demised and bargain premises to him the said aforesaid Thurgood his heirs and assigns against the lawful Claims or Demands of any Person or Persons whatsoever & Warrant therefore and Defend by these Presents And Seals Witness my

55 The Aforesaid Achora Card for the Considerations before mentioned do hereby grant and convey to my said Husband and do by these Presents give up and release all my right of Search and Parts of What of mine and the better before Demised Premises hereunto the He Revenue Hugon tho these and all other [illegible] — with Witness hereof we have hereunto set our Hands and Seals this Eighteenth Day of November, one Thousand Eight hundred and Seven 1807 Signed Sealed and Delivered In Presence of Joseph Holloway Joshua Card fg Achora Card Sarah Card [illegible] more Recorded Dec 14 1807 page 56 P. G. [illegible] Washington fo tenant at Charlestown on the 8th Day of Novy 1807 — Personally came before me the Above named Achora Card and the Aforesaid Card Negress of Joshua Card the Above and foregoing instrument and Declared the Same to have been their Voluntary act and Deed Hand and Seal Hand and for the Purpose Herein Contained. Before Joshua Card Justice Peace Know all Men by these presents that I Joseph Stantonly [illegible] within Maine for and consideration of the Sum of five hundred and eighty eight Dollars and consideration Seventy Seven Cents to me in hand before the execution hereof well and truly paid by Joshua Card of Charlestown in the County of Washington state was the Right whereas I the humble Acknowledge Do by these presents bargain Sell and Assign to the said Joshua his Heirs and Assigns forever all my right and title to the within Described Premises in the same manner as set to me by the within Deed of Assignment.
