202 To all People to whom these Presents shall Come Greeting Whereas ye that Joshua Kenyon of Charlestown in Washington county and State of Rhode Island ye German how have for and in Consideration of the sum of five hundred Dollars to me in hand Paid and Truly paid of me and before the Conveyancing here by these presents do of my own volition of the same Sum certain and Sufficient Consideration give grant bargain and sell with all the Rights and liberties and privileges and Immunities appertaining to the Right of Heritages from the Premises Kenyon in the Herein mentioned as Administrators former Slave John Gopert’s Premises and Land Conveyed and Confirmed to the said former Slave during his life time and after his decease to the said John Gopert and two Certain tracts of land situated in Charlestown the One containing forty Acres in the same More or less and the other is bounded as follows wit (viz) Beginning at a Stake driven into the Ground by the crossing of a Black Oak tree on the high way in the East side then running East 3 feet North 23 feet then North 20 East 86 Rods to a White Oak then North West 20 Rods to a Stake then North 2 North 2 East 70 Rods to a Stake then by a line from a Survey of Martha Moore West 71 Rods to a Stake and then along the said line from the Stake to the North Mountain Corner the Other tract contains five Acres and situated in the same town and location in the same the more or less of life and is bounded as follows wit Beginning at a Stake driven into a bank corner of the said premises running the North line of the Premises from there North West nine Chains to a Stake and then by the line of the boundary from there running North westerly by Lucy Higgin’s high way to a Black Oak tree on the high way from there North 28 East 13
