To all People that shall come greeting
Know ye that I Ruben Green of Charleston in the County of Washington and State
of Rhode Island and province plantations aforesaid do grant and for consideration of the sum of
two thousand Dollars to me in Hand before the execution hereof well and truly paid
by Jose Bachman of Richmond in the County and State aforesaid do grant and release
of which of the aforesaid above mentioned things fully settled described and paid and paid and paid and paid and
of every part of aforesaid things by several assigns and discharge him and his heirs and assigns
Bachman his Heirs Successors Administrators for ever by these presents have grant and release
and give convey and confirm and by these presents do give fully completely and clearly release
take give grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said Jose
Bachman his heirs and assigns forever two pieces of Land situate lying and
in Charleston in the said county by Estimation one hundred and twenty four acres of
Land on the same lot or by the feet contained the Lots described as follows as
beginning at pavement near River on a board oak Tree standing on the north by said
River at the Southwest Corner of Samuel Warren land then running easterly
bounding in River until it comes to Allen Green land then southerly bound
on said Allen Green land and property on said Green land then northerly on J.
Land until it comes to a heap of stone then northerly bounding on H Knight land until it
comes to the said Warren land bounding on H Warren land until it comes to the first

Him the said Jose Babcock his Heirs and Assigns against the Lawful Claims or Demands of
any Person whatsoever for ever to warrant secure and defend by these Presents and
Martha Green Wife to the said Reuben Green for the Consideration of a breve sum
fourthly the these Premises fully and completely yield and surrender all my Right
of Tenure and Tenure of thirds of orchard and the said Demised Premises unto him the said
