(352) And Hannah Babcock Wife of the said Joseh Babcock both for the considerations Above Mentioned is fully and willingly Yield up and Surrender as well the right the said Interest Property Claim by Demand as well right of Dower and Power of thirds etc and any Other Interest that she may have in Dom i sic and Bargain Premises under the said James Thorton however as Assigns forever Signed And Maria Augus Crops widow of the late Nathan Daniel Cornel Crops has said that she has a right of Dower and power of thirds in the aforesaid Premises And in consideration of the amount Named Joseph Babcock paying her a Sum of money and her fully and lawfully Satisfying and Indemnifying her from Damages to the said Joseph Babcock is fully and willingly Yield up and Surrender as well her right Dower and power of thirds of and in the said Dom i sic Demand Premises and Premises under the said James Thorton being his heir and Assigns forever Signed For William who being the Joseh Babcock Hannah has advice her as I Daniel Cornel Crops to have delivered it to her husband as I seal this 30th Day of December 1808 Signed Sealed and Delivered In the presence of Nathan Robson Philip Crops Joseh Babcock Hannah Babcock Anna Crops Washington, N.C. Court at Charleston the Day and Date first written Above Persons personally appeared Joseh Babcock and Hannah Babcock and the said Joseph As attorney for the said Dom i sic Bargain and claim the title for the said Persons’ Claim and Deed hand and heart that they shall be forever to me the subscribers And the said Hannah a Babcock Acknowledging the same in the presence of the said Joseh her husband and said hand and seal in et al as a person to know from her of her husband and Nathan his Presence December 11, 1802 Before Philip Crops ex justice Peace To all People to whom these Presents shall come Greeting know that ye said Clerk of Charleston in the County of Washington and State of Rhode Island says Dom i sic German forward in his consideration of the Premises Dom i sic to me hand noted by Thomas Clarke of said Charleston German in the amount Thirty I hereby acknowledge and am fully satisfied and fully satisfied and paid and through and every Part and Parcel thereof have fully and absolutely and vacant and release the same to the said Thomas Clarke in his Executorship and Administration likewise forever through these Premises I have given proud boundary and sealed and by the said Persons to be conveyed in recovery and confirm and more than the said Thomas Clarke for his heirs and Assigns forever those Seven Dunbars parcels of Lots or pieces of land both situate in aforesaid the one containing twenty Acres and bounded as followeth Beginning at a large White Oak tree lying on the north westward Corner of the lot lately belonging to George Clarke Descending from there north thirty five Degrees east to Sloane Land’s right line and then North forty five Degrees west to a stone which is the north boundary line between this lot and the next lot then South forty five Thirty degrees west bordering Brook road then South forty five west thirty seven degrees east by Rules Kingman’s land to a stake and from a stake north thence south thirty five Degrees east to Land lately to George Clarke then more fify.
