293 This Indenture Made this 21st Day of May 1783 Between Samuel Card of Charlestown in Washington County and State of Rhode Island Provenoman on the One part and Joshua Card of the same County and State aforesaid Provenoman on the Other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Card does for the considerations herein mentioned have given and granted to the said Joshua Card a Piece of Land The Situation of which Land lies as follows: the North Line be the North line of the land now belonging to Benjamin Card’s neighbor to the North boundary of the Land of Robert Ward boundary of the Land of Benjamin Card Land belonging to him by a Tree marked with a Boundary marking by a Signature Card’s Line The Consideration Whereas the said Samuel Card does Give Grant and convey all together the above Land to the said Joshua Card during his Voluntary Life to have and to use the same as his own Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Charlestown this 21st Day of May 1783— Witness Augustus Hannan Thobt Stanton — Samuel Card [seal] mark This Indenture Made this 21st Day of May 1783 Between Augustus Card of Charlestown in Washington County and State of Rhode Island Provenoman on the One Part and Joshua Card of the same County and State aforesaid Provenoman on the Other part— Witnesseth that the said Augustus Card does aforesaid Consideration have granted and delivered a Piece of land belonging to Joshua Card of a bond Plot of Land in the said Town lying between said Card and the said Benjamin Card and is bounded as above of early by a Tree the Consideration Whereas the said Augustus Card does Give Grant and convey from all the above a Piece of Land site my said Father Joshua Card during his Natural Life to have and to use the same as his own Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21st Day of May 1783 Witness Augustus Hannan Augustus Card [seal] mark This Indenture Made this 21st Day of May 1783— Between William Card of Charlestown in the County of Washington State of Rhode Island Provenoman On the Constant Joshua Card of said Town County and State above stated Provenoman On the Other part Witnesseth that the said William Card does for the Consideration I have hundred a Piece of my Father Joshua Card of said Town a piece of Land with the same More or Less and is bounded as follows: the North Line by Joseph Potter’s Land south boundary on the opposite boundary South westerly Part boundary by Augustus Card’s Land westerly by Joseph Card’s Land westerly by Joshua Card’s Land Witness Consideration Whereas the said William Card does by these Presents Give Grant and convey all the above said Land unto my Father Joshua Card during his Natural Life to have and to use the above Land and use the same as his own Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21st Day of May 1783 Witness Augustus Hannan Thobt Stanton — William Card [seal] Recorded the foregoing and Presenting before me September 25th 1783 Attest Pilig Ross Jr. T.
