223 Mother have hereunto set our hands and seals this thirteenth Day of December 1896 Signed Sealed & Delivered In the Presence of Joshua Redbook Honington Clerk And on the 2nd Day of Jan 1897 by me [illegible] I [illegible] the undersigned in the County of Washington & State of Rhode Island December 16th 1896 Secretary of the above signed the above signatures & seals And I have hereunto affixed the above and Written witness the Day the Hour and Date and Place before me Honington Clerk Justice Peace Nathan Duston [seal] Ruth Duston [seal] Know all Men by these presents that I William Harvey junior of [illegible] in the County of Washington State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Laborer Do and in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred Dollars and Sundry goods & valuable things to me in hand before the execution hereof paid and sufficient consideration and premises of the Choice of Consideration the County and State above mentioned Whereas the right Whereof I hereby acknowledge and do now also therefore with my fully Lawful Consent and [illegible] part and parcel of any piece of land of the aforementioned Area and [illegible] lying in the Town of [illegible] Cove near his residence situated in the Town of [illegible] from the 13th Day of December 1896 these Presents Have Given Granted bargained sold Alienated & Sold forever and Conveyed and bartered in the premises the full Liberty and Absolute Right granted to all Alien English Conveyors and any person who shall come into the said Samuel Coffin his Heirs and a piece of land One Cord of Wood for the Forestry [illegible] and allants lumps & stones and Chattels on the aforesaid lot also all rights and Privileges continuing by Estimation forty acres More or Less Dated and recorded as parchment 21st Vol 31 Page 147 in a piece of land from home marking with stones about 10 feet Wide in the South East corner of said land from home marking with stones about Twenty feet across Conveyed and rectify five links to the East from home then marking with stones about Twenty feet and 2 quarter Degrees North 25 chains Right line to the & Maple Tree marked with signs about standing on the North Side of the Walkways for from home marking with stones measuring boundary certainly bounded about thirty three rods to a brush from home measuring North westerly on the third stream of [illegible] about One Hundred and One rods to a bunch of Maple trees standing on the East side of Brook One being marked about three rods from the Brook from there last line five feet Down to the First Stone and Twenty rods to a White Oak Tree marked with a [illegible] and 14 rods thence about 11 feet from there be straight line to the first Mentioned White Oak marked boundary situated on Watchung Point & Co. Lower other the first Part on the said land I Reserve and hold the above Granted property and Privileges and all the the Appurtenances Privileges & Commodities of the same belonging or in any manner appertaining to the said Samuel Coffin his Wife and heirs and assigns forever to his and their only proper use profit benefit & welfare for life and after it William Harvey junior of my house Lotment and Home situated between Providence and [illegible] and grant to and with the the said Samuel Coffin his Heirs Successors Administrators and Assigns
