To all People to Whome their Presents shall Come Greeting Whereas it is that I Joseph Healy of Newporttown in the County of Washington in State of Rhode Island & Providencs Yeoman for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars to me and my heirs Well and Sufficiently paid by me and my Son Henry Healy Certifid and Content Quits claim to Affirm Agree and in the said sum of One hundred fifty Dollars certify and Content and have given granted and Conveyed and Confirmed by these Presents unto him the said Henry Healy his Heirs and Assigns Forever One Certain Lot of Land situate in the Town of Newport in the County of Washington One Certain Lot of Land situate in the said Town of Newport and Conveyed by Indenture between my Father and me Joseph Healy & Co dated December 1790 Beginning at a stake and heap of stones in Alencee in Meannons crossing Line between Meannons and Motton at a stone marked with an X and thence East by the Shortest distance the same Course to the Northwesterly boundary Line of the said Lot by the Highway One Chain and Forty Seven Links North by the Middle of a brook to the North West Corner of the Properties hereunto described then by the said Northwesterly Line East and Eighteen links thence South easterly boundary Line of the said Certain Lot until it comes to the South East corner of the said Lot then North West three chains running tidily from that till it comes to meannons by the North West boundary Line three chains the same Course till it comes to Meannons & Meannons one chain running Northeasterly through a swamp with the Meannons Line to the first Mentioned Point And Convey and do hereby Assign and let the aforesaid Demised Land and Premises unto him the said Henry Healy his Heirs & Assigns Forever and to the said Joseph Henry Healy being heirs & Co Do hereby promise and engage and forever do ensure and guarantee the executing of these Presents in all the uses and Lawful purposes of the said Grant and Assigns to him and his Heirs and and any lawful Assigns of the same and I have any good Faith Good Title Pure and Lawful Authority to Sell and Deliver the said Premises in manner aforesaid And And Also to all Persons whomsoever aforesaid and for the same Agreement as well as for all future Claims of a Prior Date to these presents And I the mother Healy entrust to the said Joseph Henry Healy for the Consideration Aforesaid I do hereby Revoke all my rights Power and Claims of tenancy in and seats or Conveyance of the aforesaid Deed and Premises unto him the said Joseph Healy his Heirs his Heirs & Assigns Forever In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and Affix our Seals at Newporttown aforesaid the 27th Day of May Anno Domini 1796 Signed Sealed & Delivered In Presence of Polly Davis Abel Tanner Rathas San Fra 1797 Thos Piles Coffman Nashilton mt Charleston June the 27th 1796 this Day Personally appeared the within named Joseph & Martha Healy Witness & declared the within Instrument to be their Legal Deed and I declared Duly Certified & Acknowledged the same to be his Proper Act and Seal and Love before John Coller Justice Peace
