Know all Men by these Presents that I Samuel Thurgood Citizen of Charlestown in the
County of Washington and State of Rhode Island and Providence having had a Certain Parcel of land lying in
Peacehaven aforesaid which land was given unto me By Deed by Honour’d my Brother Enoch Thurgood and
Whereas my Brother Joseph Thurgood has had a Diffy Disease through the I Spirit of God I do hereby put further
Care Cause and Trust and do appoint a Trust that my Father gave & from the said Joseph Thurgood which
Diffy Disease I Promise in the Agreement with my Brother Joseph Thurgood & Brother Enoch Thurgood in the
Purchase made of me And Abishai Day I Promise that I have a Privilege of the said aforesaid that my
Brother Enoch Thurgood have the said aforesaid Peacehaven before the Construction started
in the Deed By the said Father to my right of Ownership Said Deed is in the hand of Samuel and the said
Joseph Thurgood in Money and soon as is Specified in a Certain Agreement & Profession made
Of my Trust to my Brother Joseph and my Trust of my Right which I have written it shall may have in
