To all People to whom these Presents shall Come Greeting &c
Know All that I Lodowick Tingen of Charlestown in the County of Washington and State
of Rhode Island and citizen do grant and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and Eighty five
L 5 Shillings money to me in hand by L & S [illegible] and fully paid by me Joseph Hyde son of Joseph Hyde
of Charlestown the same day truly and sufficiently paid have and do hereby grant the Parcel of Land which I do
hereby claim by all means now lying in my tenure in July [illegible] and in my Possession and I have given on
and by these Presents grant fully and absolutely give grant Proportion 50 & [illegible]
Common land to the said Joseph Hyde his heirs executors Administrators and Assigns forever as
Certain Bound by the said Joseph Hyde in Agreement entered by Commissioner [illegible] of the town
of Charlestown County of Kent [illegible] by Joseph Hyde in Agreement entered by Commissioner [illegible] of the town
of Kent [illegible] the line be the same more or less 118 L [illegible] and bounded and abutted as follows beginning
at a Post Oak marked with the by the Day of October [illegible] North West then a course North [illegible]
One Degree East [illegible] to a Stone [illegible] North West then a course North West to the Stone and Bound of the Stone
Remaining boundary bordering on the [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible]
to a Stone & [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] and from thence Bound [illegible] on [illegible] [illegible] [illegible]
thence Bound [illegible] to the first Post [illegible]
To have and agree all the said Land the said Joseph Hyde his heirs and Assigns forever with all the Utilities
Privileges and Conveniences & [illegible] belonging or appertaining to the same or appertaining to the said
the said Joseph Hyde his heirs and Assigns forever to his and their only use Benefit and enjoyment
To the true Intent that I the said Lodowick Tingen for myself my heirs executors and Administrators do
do Remise grant and pass and grant to the said Joseph Hyde his heirs and Assigns forever all
of my Right to the equal [illegible] of the said Parcel of the land in the South and North [illegible]
and other Right’s and Grand Demands & Promises and acclaim for saidly [illegible] [illegible] of the claim in name
of the said True Title [illegible] and lawful by Authority & Decree of the claim in Name and
