A Survey Made on the Eastern Boundary of the Horse Farm belonging
to Jos. the Christopher Chamberlin of Newbourn lyng in Charlestown, & the Northward of the
Country Road it being the Eastward Boundary of Land sold and Conveyed to Col. Joseph
Slanton of said Charlestown & Col. Joseph Porche Banking Late departed the 18th August
1816 during his Life will fully Appear Appearing Regularly as a Stake and Stones by the East
Road Now known by the name of Narragansett Bond Where I discover that a True Line
and
Accurately from good stones Then South Three Degrees One minute Eastly the Length
of Land Sold to Col. Slanton Boundary 8 chains One Degree East Lyne measuring one and One quarter
Degrees by Agreement for the Variation of the Compass One Hundred and Three feet where
I arrived at a Stake and stones and came about a Tree Then South Forty Two and one minute
Degrees East 145 feet Then North Forty Degrees west 204 Minutes the South the East
Road a Large Tree From this Stake one half to the Eastward of General Slantons p.m. Bound C.

And Lawful Authority sellt and Dispose of the same in Manner and Form as a Owner and that
the said John Heaney his heirs and assigns shall and may forever have here herein by appertaining
to have and enjoy free and Clear and close and fully and Clearly against all Persons and from all other
Claims or Rights any inconveniences of the same Nature however And I the by these presents
do remise release and quit Claim the same Liberty of use Claimed by Demise of any Person or
Persons whatsoever Until the above named the wife of the said John Browning for the Consideration above
before mentioned Witnesseth All that piece of Land lying in Charlestown bounded to the North
