said St. Andrew's Parish namely the Clarke & George his wife who both of them rights & Certify the motion for judgment of Deed that they both of them absolutely sold the same instrument to be their I know ledger my self from whom fully satisfied contented and paid to grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said Simon Tucker by his heirs executors administrators assigns and forever unto the said tractor for himself and said his successors in said Charlestown town it being the East and 1/2 of lot No 1 to the 1/2 of the said Simon Tucker on the division of the Estate of Stephen Clarke [illegible] about one acre three roods and twenty square feet the house on the lot with so following beginning at the south 1/2 of the said Simon Tucker's boundary in the said town of Charlestown north 31 degrees east two rods twenty feet to boundary of Henry [illegible] north 45 degrees east four rods twenty four feet and fifty inches to a black oak by the side of a small brook then north 31 degrees west twenty four feet quarter rod east 1/2 rod till it touched boundary of Sarah [illegible] then north 31 degrees west twenty four feet and 1/2 rod and finally to the first mentioned boundary [illegible]’s lot through namely Northward by said Richard Clarke’s land while it witness to the first mentioned boundary to the East and to the South all the the before granted and bargained premises with all rights of pasture commons to browse to hunt and to take all the of appurtenances attending here with the said Simon Tucker his heirs and assigns forever and the said Simon Clarke for himself and for my self my heirs my heirs do agree and covenant and to the said Simon Tucker his heirs of that of abundance will and the English law giving and to the said Simon Tucker and his sole lawful heirs of the premises and privelege and state [illegible] and privileged of the same and have in or of such good will full power house and dwelling the lawfully to sell and dispose of the same in manner and form as above said that and the said Simon Tucker his heirs shall and may from time to time and for all times forever said Simon Tucker their heirs his Heirs and assigns forever and the said Simon Clarke for his consideration gave said with up and seven- seven doll her right of dower and possess of thirds unto the said Simon Tucker his Heirs and assigns forever in witness whereof we have unto our hands and seals this 16th day of May AD 1791, one fourteenth year of American Independence Signed sealed and Delivered in presence of Jonathan [illegible] Maria Green ( ) [illegible] Simon Clarke (seal) Simon Clarke (seal) month Charles town Washington County the day and date first written within this deed was read this 6th day [illegible] written personally explained the within Tenancy and delivered to the above parties AD 1791 on a Deed and acknowledged the same to be their sole act and deed hand [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] and deed before me Jonathan December Justice peace I Saul Poole do declare within these presents that come citing through that I the said I O Nathan Tucker of Charlestown in the state of Rhode Island and providence plantations governor for and in our confederation of the sum of ten shillings in how- full payment money to my hand in hand before the expensing however will and truly paid by Jona- than Clarke of the town and state above said likewise before the present witness of the abovey acknowledge myself therefore fully satisfied contented and paid and have by these presents freely fully honestly and absolutely give grant bargain sell alien bestow convey and confirm unto the above named Jonathan Clarke by his heirs treasury administrators assigns and assigns one certain lot of land State lying and being in Charles town aforesaid said and containing by estimation are twentieth part of an
