To all People to whom the present Hall come greeting know ye that Joseph Gavitt Gent. of Westerly in the County of Washington and State of Rhode Island yeoman and Sarah his wife and in consideration of the Sum of Seven pounds ten shvings paid money to us in hand paid before the appearance of one by Jonathan Macomber of Westerly town in said County yeoman we severally receive of ye said James
