To all people to whom these presents shall come - I Paul M. Clark of Charlestown County of Washington state of Rhode Island above directing Know all men by these presents that I the said Paul M. Clark for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars paid to me before the witnessing hereof will and truly give grant devise and bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said Lucinda Clark of the town of Westerly who is hereby acknowledged and me thereafter fully satisfied contented and paid price and value thereof and of a certain piece of covenants agree and contract shelving hence the said Lucinda Clark beloved his wife together and administrators forever by these presents have given granted bargained sold alienated conveyed confirmed granted confirmed and by these present devises fully and absolutely given grant bargained and convey a close half share and certain lot of land with the buildings thereon situated within said Charlestown in the village called North Mills bounded as follows viz Northly by a part of land belonging to James Bone their boundary poles established by a lot of land belonging to the Carolina Mills Co four rods westerly Northly by the boundary fence for making giust one half over, two twenty rods westerly Northly by a lot of land belonging to the said George B Remington rectangular form said George B Remington to have all the fence on the Eastly side and maintain the boundary of same but East is separated from me by express condition of the indenture said lot not incorporating square feet was left I have and to hold the said grant bargained premises with all the belongings or the appurtenances privileges and commodities to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to thus the said Lucinda Clark his wife and her heirs forever to his heirs then only for her use benefit and liking forever And I the said Paul M. Clark for myself my heirs executors and administrators covenant promise and grant to cause the said Lucinda Clark his wife and her assigns forever and before this executing hereof I am the true sole and lawful owner of these valuable bargained premises and lawfully and absolutely free of all encumbrances of the same convey own proper right as good perfect good and absolute estate in order that whoever shall ever in some good right full power bargained premises as aforesaid grant convey and confirm the same bargained premises as aforesaid Paul M. Clark the said George B Remington his heirs and assigns may from time to time Meet the said George B Remington his heirs and assigns part and parcels of these premises lawfully and quietly have hold enjoy the said boundary peacefully and quietly have hold enjoy with full power and force for clear and plain and purely and clearly and bargained premises with all the appurtenances for clear and
