Reference July 8th 1861 by Chas Cass L Clerk Memorandum of agreement of hire time fence between Benjamin F. Wittow and London M. Hospie around the land sold Wittow Bought of Jordan Galebe and from Peter Slater The said Wittow agrees to make and mend the hire fence between said Wittow and Hospie running North as the distillery runs right ore roots and mines until it comes to a rock marked LB with a cross on it and the said Hospie agrees to make and mend the time fence from the aforesaid rock to the South East corner of said Wittow's home and home West to the said Slater Charlestown June 11th 1861 Gordon M. Church daughter of said town the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge to be fully paid bargain sell and convey to the said Sarah P. Church in manifold as forever all my right title and interest in and convey a certain lot of land being in said Charlestown bounded as follows beginning at a stone wall in Water house field corner of said land & water land now owned by Peter Slater Stone Wall North bounded Southly on said Slaters lot lot lot until it comes to Henry Church land then North Easterly boundary on said Slaters lot lot until it comes to Water house field’s I have and to hold the above described premises together with the appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said Sarah P.
