233 enough or to pasture the said land in grass husbandry like women and all the other privilege to the said down and sold with sufficient quantity of good hay such seed and etc said John S Ward on this part doth promise our covenant and agree with said committee to pay or cause to be paid yearly 12.50 dolls for the term of this bond part sum have paid 47.50 dolls for the last three years payable in advance yearly and every year and the last payment to the Committee on the 25th of March 1861 and etc and satisfaction of said term to take uphold of the possessable and quiet possession of the above mentioned premises unto said Joshua Hunton leaving the same tenable and sufficient and in due manner witnessed whereof said parties have set their names to not done offices at the day and date above stated Signed sealed and delivered in presence Reserve Davis Witnessed the above in presence for the term of one year Gideon Ammons L S Joshua N Veka L S Joseph Hunton L S John S Ward L S Joseph Simmons Remov May 27 1858 by Chas S Hall Know all men that that the Eber S Northeast & Elizabeth Northeast his wi of the town of Washington Co Washington R I to secure the payment of Money due to the Woonsocket Savings Bank a Corporation Created by the General Assembly of the State of Rhode Island and located in North Providence town County of Providence and State of Rhode Island to hereby bargain sell and convey certain parts side bound and Assigns a certain tract of land situated in the town of Coventry in the County of Washington containing five acres more or less the same acres or less bounded following commencing at a post in the North Road from East 57 ft North 41 E to a post boundary stone there bounded along said North Road forward to Colburns North line sailing since prior to a point bounded by extending a wall south westerly into the boundary of both sides to our South line but continuing east but the first distance in said North line continuing Straight Northeasterly 4 feet back of a wall in a Rock’s first sum forward straight to meet the North line or the same may be bounded until the full boundaries thereof stating To have and hold the same to said Savings Bank and its Assigns forever Provided however that if said Eber S Northeast & Elizabeth his wife during the next twenty consecutive or August before said day to the Woonsocket Savings Bank the entire sum payment partly of one doll remaining for the said amount hundred dollars and give them by deed Bank and execute any proper deed such amount of money shall be to said Savings Bank and once and all forever freed from any claim of Eber S Northeast his wi wife to said bank and securities for the same and for the same different time and whether with out lying interest or without expenses over and above such sums acknowledged against and liens except on employment of any spare premises whereas this deed is to the void oblivious to remain void null and void Item also it is agreed between the parties hereunto that should any amount be unpaid in the payment by any note hereby secured recorded and filed the same on either remain unpaid for the space of thirty months from this date he shall be the Attorney of the said Savings Bank or its Assigns as the Attorney of the said Eber S Northeast and his wi & authorized him with the power of Sub let attorney to sell the premises or so proceed as man the necessary at Public auction or advertising the same some form public in the City of Providence in the office of some maker such was in the name of the Eber S Northeast & Co his right to sign such written acknowledgements deliver to the
