To all people above named a certain sum of money I Sarah Lewis of Scituate County of Providence and State of Rhode Island send Greeting Know ye that I Sarah Lewis wife of Lewis Lewis am seized of the sum of 15 hundred dollars in my hand by bills of exchange relating hereof well and truly paid between Lewis Lewis and Peter Lewis sons of Christopher Lewis in County of Kent and State of New York the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and agree and with full authority covenant and hereby and of every part and parcel of the premises except and reserving them the said Nathaniel Lewis for his his Heirs forever and commitments forever except and reserving them to be grantedly reserved safely altered enclosed and unto him and his heirs forever to be fully fully safely held fully granted free
