Washington Co Charleston town Nov 26th 1853 Personally came before me Frances Boemoes & George W Cross and acknowledged the within instrument by them signed to be their free & voluntary act Joseph T6 Coffier Justice of the Peace North 80 W 14 44 Lot 3 Acres South 80 E 14 44 15 14' 2" 18 14' 4" 20 14' 26" Received Dec 3 1853 by Elias Brown T6 Whereas Robert Hazard (one of said proprietors) of Charlestown Rhode Island on the 1st day of August AD 1840 made & executed a Mortgage Deed of absolute trust of land in or about a town containing one hundred and seventy acres more or less bounded Northerly by the line of the Wrights lots & lanes bounded Northeasterly by the line of the Wrights lots & lanes bounded Easterly by the line of Edward Millers bounded Southeasterly by the line of Edward Millers bounded Southerly by the East Road and West Road bounded Westerly by the line of Christopher E Champignon now belonging to the C. R. G. owners or heirs hereafter bounded with all appurtenances it was conveyed to said Robert Hazard by Deeds from various Proprietors to Mr Joseph Millery Administrator of the Estate of Nehemiah Edward Millery Proprietor to secure the payment of a debt due from Nehemiah Edward Millery Proprietor to Joseph Millery having failed to pay him the Collate to the Estate of Edward Millery on the 18th day of February 1833 assigned over said Mortgage and will have been appointed as administrator over the Estate of said Edward Millery and has possession of said land since been delivered to said Ezra Potter privately and the same is recorded in 6 harls = conveyed unto the General Assembly of said State at their September Session of 1853 authorized said Potter to sell all the right title and interest of said Estate unless to void Mortgage & debt & lane Mortgage & the same after further adjustments was sold on the 13th day of November 1853 further the auction to Randall Lawson of Charlestown who was the highest bidder for the sum of fifteen hundred seventy five Dollars which sum has since been fully paid Now therefore I the said Ezra Potter the said considerations of my said authority for hereby bargain sell assign & convey unto said Irwin his heirs executors administrators & assigns all the right title & interest of by said authority over the Estate of Edward Millery has or which I now have which the Estate of said Edward Millery are owe to the said Mortgage Deed debt several thousand and the land described in said Mortgage Deed with all the Buildings & appurtenances To have and hold
