Know all men by these presents that I
Rowland G Hazard of North Kingstown R.I. for consideration of
two hundred dollars to me paid by Thomas P of Charlestown
of the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do hereby
promise release and forever quitclaim unto the said Thomas
his heirs and assigns a certain lot of land in the Village of
Cornish Mills Town of Charlestown in consideration of
four acres are one rood more or less on land of some fourteen twenty
rods wide bordering on the highway leading to South Road and bounding
one side North, one side East, twenty rods and one row respectively on
two sides South, forty & twenty rods’ said he & assigns to make and
maintain all the line fence of said Granted lot & it is hereby
made a condition of this deed that no intoxicating liquor shall
be sold or kept for sale on said lot
To Have and to Hold the same together with all the
privileges and appurtenances thereof to the said Thomas his
heirs and assigns forever; so that neither I the said Hazard nor
my heirs or any other person or persons claiming seniority form or under
me or through me or on the name, right or state of me or mine shall
or will by any way or means have, claim or demand any right
or title to the aforesaid premises or their appurtenances or to any
part or parcel thereof forever
I M Witness hereof O the said Hazard & also Caroline
H Hazard wife of said Rowland hereby for consideration
above mentioned relinquishing her right of Dower to the described
premises have hereunto set our hands and seals this 16th day
of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty three

Know all men by these presents that I Jesse B
Kinney of Westerly in the County of Washington and
State of Rhode Island for one in consideration of the sum of
eight hundred dollars paid me by Joseph G Hazard of
North Kingstown and state of Rhode Island the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do
by these presents promise release and forever quitclaim unto the said
Joseph G Hazard his heirs and assigns forever all the right
title interest claims and demands which I have or of right ought
to have or claim in and to the certain lot of land lying in said
Charlestown which I bought from Lyte with Robert Hazard with a
dwelling house and the buildings thereon standing for the
boundaries of which reference is hereby made to the former deeds
recorded in book No 7 & No 8 Evidence town
said lots which are Charlestown pages 286 & 287 The said Joseph his heirs and
assigns is to make and maintain all the line fence for enclosing
