Know all men by these presents that I Nathan Green
of Seldenburg in Rensselaer County in the State of New York for and in
consideration of the sum of eleven Dollars to me paid by Joshua P Card
of Charlestown in the County of Washington and State of Rhode Island the
receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have sold released and forever
quitclaimed and by these presents of remise release and forever quitclaim
unto the said Joshua P Card his heirs and assigns forever all the right
title interest property claim and demand which I have of or right are the
subject to have or claim in and to a certain tract of land situated in the
town of Charlestown aforesaid and bounded as follows (viz) Beginning at the
Northwest corner of said tract road by the road leading to Caroline Mills and
the Southeast corner of piece Robert Lanke south on said road until it
comes to land of Joseph Thrasher thence Easterly on said line southward until it
comes line to the Great Swamp thence Southerly on said river until it comes
line to the land belonging to said Robert Lanke southward on said Robert's South
line to the line of the landing or house bounded the same being the east
line of land purchased by some Part of Benjamin Moore deceased
I have and to hold the same with all the right privileges
and appurtenances thereof to me and others appertaining to him the said
Joshua P Card his heirs and his assigns forever and the aforementioned Nathan
Green for myself and for my heirs executors and Administrator do covenant
with the said Joshua P Card his heirs and assigns forever that I will warrant
and defend the aforesaid premises to him the said Joshua P Card
his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands
of all persons claiming by through or under me
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this 29th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight him

Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Miller of
Charlestown Washington County State of Rhode Island in consideration of
the sum of eight hundred Dollars paid me by Joseph H Dollar paid me by Joseph H Miller of town town
do hereby
to the said aforesaid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do hereby
give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Joseph H Miller
his heirs and assigns forever two certain tracts or parcels of land containing
by Estimation 40 acres be the same more or less first or last with the
part of a dwelling house and their building thereon standing bounded over
as follows (viz) Beginning at the Southwest corner of the boundary running west
Southerly Eastward and Southerly again as the wall now stands until it
strikes the Salt Pond hence southward by the said pond until it comes
to land of Joseph Bassett from thence south by the said Grant line until it strikes
land mortgaged to Samuel Easton Eng from thence Easterly and Northerly to said
land mortgaged to Samuel Easton Eng until it strikes a pair of trees but north of my dwelling house
from thence running Northerly taking the east part of my dwelling house
