Know all men by these presents that I, John P. Saunders of Charlestown
in the County of Washington, State of Rhode Island, for a consideration
paid by the said Joseph P. Taft of the same
Town of the same
County and State aforesaid the receipt of which I hereby acknowledge
that I the hereby grant bargain sell and convey unto said Joseph
the said Joseph P. Taft his heirs and assigns forever, all the right title
and interest which I have in and to all the following described lot
and tract of Land lying in the town of Charlestown, and bounded by the
and boundaries as follows: a committee caused to be laid said Saunders and Taft
by mutual consent to make partition of said tract of land of Isaac Taft all
my lot runs from a stone wall on a straight line drawn parallel to
the South boundary of the same at a distance of one chain twenty and twenty five links
north of the North boundary line one chain and one chain and thirteen links north
of the North East corner of the same, now marked by three stakes under the
stone wall. Also in the North East corner in the line now marked by the
stone wall and boundary markers from the same, North 24 links into
North 43 links into North 60 links into North 57 links into North 13 links into all
my right line into 13 links into 23 links north of the Middle division line
measuring from said line 13 links east and only three links south to a
slab under the stone wall also in east walked the 18 links in the line now
run from the first stake of the line, North 21 links into North 23 links into
North 20 links to the middle line. All bound of the middle line into 12 links
23 links into North 23 links into North 24 links into North 13 links into
all in that land of tracks and lines now lying between said Taft and
all in that land running in the direction of the line now marked by a

and for a consideration of the Sum of five Acres articles to me paid by
John Saunders of Charlestown County and State aforesaid the
receipt of which I hereby acknowledge as duly received grant bargain
