249 Know all men by these presents that I Joseph & Rossie of the state of Rhode Island, for and in consideration of the sum of fifty Dollars to me in hand paid by Alvin Green, of Charlestown in the county of Washington in the state of Rhode Island the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do hereby sell, remise and forever quit claim all my right title and interest as her as heir to the one the title particularly is contiguous to a certain tract of land known as the sars plate farm the same being land formerly owned by James R. Lake of Charlestown aforesaid and said land has two deeds in their name and the Buildings thereon and by contain by its orientation on the north and east arcs to the Main road and by boundaries or fences on the south said Alvin Green and Peter Rips Rate both and south easterly on land of Robert Hayward and partly on highway and write on the neighboring or other than the same is of a boundary. To have and to hold the same together with all the privileges and appurtenances annexed thereto to him the said Alvin Green his heirs and assigns forever and said Joseph & Rossie for myself my heirs Executors and Administrators do covenant with said Alvin Green his heirs and assigns that I warrant and defend the same to said Alvin Green his heirs and assigns against all the lawful claims of all persons claiming by therefore or under me.
