187 Know all men that I Thomas J. Barber of Plainfield in the county of Windham in the State of Connecticut Administrator on the Estate of Pardon King owner late of Voluntown in the county and State aforesaid declare that for and in Consideration of the sum of twenty dollars to me paid by Robert P. Putnam law of Charlestown in the county of Washington in the State of Rhode Island and the highest bidder at public auction of the Estate of the said Pardon King on the 15th day of August last 1814 the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge I do hereby sell convey bargain give sale and convey all the rights I have in my hand from the said Robert P. Putnam his heirs and assigns piece all the rights title and interest which the said Pardon King on the time of his decease had in and on a certain lot of wood land lying and being in the Town of Charlestown containing eight rods and their grant two and twenty perches square the land more or less southerly part on boundary of land of Henry Smith north easterly part on land of Daniel Putnam westerly on land of Robert P. Putnam and northerly on land of Pardon & Pardon land of Robert P.
