Babcock, sole heir of the above named Steven Babcock, for and consideration of the sums paid to me as advance and of the aforementioned assay and also thirty dollars and seven pence cents sum due unto the said Steven Babcock by her and a designated person all my right of seizure in and to the aforementioned premise. In token whereby witness I have executed by my hand and seal this 28th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty three. Pierce of the above mentioned appearing separately and apart from their faces witnessed and signing this deed explaining to them their acknowled ments the same to be their and voluntary acts and deeds (Before just) Jos. Gonsalves of the town of Providence County of Providence in the state of Rhode Island in consideration of the love and good will etc etc’d I have given my beloved William B. Gonsalves of the town County above stated apprentice to myself given alone convey and confirm unto the said William B. Gonsalves his heirs and assigned forever all my certain lands or parcel of land lying in the town of Providence bounding on the east named as the Same owner of this lot there about 25 ft from the chain start East 40 ft to the south east corner then South 30 ft to a stone heap Stake near some small shrub about 10 feet North 30 ft to a stone heap then West 25 ft South 60 ft and 6 inches to a Stake with stone around it then West 25 ft 6 10 chain to a Stone marker on our corner of a way eight length then South 25 ft a straight line to the first mentioned stake. Containing approximately the quantity four acres land lying between the road and the I reserve unto the buyer before granted presented together with all the app privileges and appurtenances to the said William B. Gonsalves all and forever to him and his own proper use benefit and lawful heirs however I the said George B. Gonsalves for me my heirs Executors and administrators do hereby covenant grant and to the said William B. Gonsalves his heirs and assigned that all and forever to enjoy and enjoy the enclosing and delivery quiet possess I the heir and lawful owner of the aforesaid premises and that the land are free of all encumbrances of what name or nature soever.
