Know all men by These Presents, That I Rowland G. Hazard of South
Kingstown Rhode Island in Consideration of the sum of four Hundred and Eighty
Seven Dollars to me paid by John J. Havells of Richmond Rhode Island, The receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have remised released and forever quit claimed, and
do for myself and my heirs, by this present indenture, remise and forever quit claim unto the
said Havells his heirs and assigns all my right, Title and interest to a certain Parcel
of land in Charlestown Rhode Island containing Three acres more or less with a house
thereon being the some I bought of Thomas & Samuel Allen from their father as by reference
to the same matter sitting in my papers of November 1830 notice anymore party that shall
come enjoying to the said Parcel the property and my say that I haven’t since then desire of
or am here with nothing else necessary to maintain my competency to the fulfillment of
any agreement whatever to the benefit of my poor children at the balance newly entered into
between the said Havells and myself July 15th 1844
I Have Also and Also the aforementioned premise with all the privileges and appur
tenances forever belonging to the same Havells his heirs and assigns forever;
so that neither I nor my Heirs shall pretend nor claim any more, or any Person or persons claiming
spous or others under me or otherwise, on the premises, any right or the claim of one of them, Either side by,
say way or means, he have claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises,
of their appurtenances or any thing thereunto belonging
And I witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal in consideration of my
and Caroline N. Hazard my wife in the state of Rhode Island. G. Hazard and in consideration of
the premises aforesaid, and in witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals at Kingstow
this 15th day of July 1844
