127 Know all men that I S. Catherine Suffield of Charlestown in the county of Kent Rhode Island in the town of Rhode Island state in consideration of the sum of twenty pounds to me paid by Joshua Clark clerk of town charleston the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge to be fully paid money valuable and precious give claim release quit claim unto the said Joshua Clark his heirs and assigns forever all the right title and interest I have in and unto one hundred fifty acres being a long strip of land in town of Charlestown close to the boundary line between the State of Rhode Island and the state of Connecticut in the town of East Greenwich in the town of [illegible] and part of the said land is on the said Connecticut state line that was conveyed to me and from the said state Rhode Island. To have and to hold the said land with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto to have the said Joshua Clark his heirs and assigns forever and the said Joshua any successor in covenant with the said Joshua Clark his heirs and a assigns their present covenant and agreement to the said Joshua Clark against the claims of all persons claiming by thou or under me. Green his heirs and assigns forever one certain tract of land of say seven acres in town of Green’s corner’s fartherly at John S. Green his bound and align follows viz the north line on the road or road line and on I’s boundary continuing southeastly to the southeast corner of this lot at the white oak is bounded as follows beginning at the southeast corner of this lot at the white oak stamp near the south border of Rhode Island boundary line then westerly denoting south stamp near the south border land line it runs easterly one hundred forty feet to a stake in the said boundary line then a southeast course a length five to a stake in the Rhode Island boundary line a river with a stone line’s cut in the depth of it thence continue at the date and hour to the appurtenance stone East corner about as thence westerly to said boundary line foraging to the appurtenance stone East corner To have and to hold all the aforesaid premises to the said John S. Green his heirs and assigns forever to his own proper use benefit and behalf forever and of the said Henry Green foregoingly my heirs execute and determine heirs to be hereby conveyed and to point south after S.
