79 Know all men by these presents That I Daniel moody of Charlestown State of Rhode Island County of Washington member of the paranganite Tribe of Narragansett The right of which I have in parcels acknowledge to be my right grant and convey, unto Moses Stanton and his heirs forever one certain lot piece or tract of lands lying on Charlestown aforesaid Denote Boundary or Land of Mordecai Stanton Northwesterly on pasture land Easterly on boundary Range land southerly to boundary Denote Andy parts in the form mentioned more or less boundaries it may be bounded In the first boundary North easterly with pasture and avoid the first station enter into the pasture and proceed against an axle lawed pasture land until meet Moses Stanton and his heirs on Consideration of which the said Moses Stanton do grant and give unto Daniel Moody and his heirs for exchange one certain lot or piece of land in Charlestown aforesaid as Boundary Denote Northwesterly on highway Easterly on boundary of Benjamin Dexter and boundary Meet hicks land southerly partly on meet hicks land and easterly on Robert hicks of Narragansett Land Boundary partly on hicks land and partly on pasture and partly on Charleston day 29th 1843 In and in the St. Federally Came Moses Stanton on this date before me be and acknowledged the Preceding instrument by him signed to be his own and voluntary act Before me Joseph M. Griffin Justice Peace Recorded Jan 2nd 1843 By John Stanem J. C. KNOW ALL men by these presents that I Moses Stanton of Charleston on the County of Madison in the state of Rhode Island member of the Narragansett Indians of the Indians of Madison in the state of Rhode Island have induced absolute deed and bill of saley in favor of Silas Sucken for consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars in lawful money of the United States which I accept as full and entire payment of the said money given grant bargain sell and convey and assign that they Silas Sucken and his heirs and assigns forever a certain piece or parce of land situated in the aforesaid aforesaid containing thirty and bromine feetes on the North boundary in the South east corner of said land of a large White Oak tree on the North East corner of the boundary running from North side to Rhodehouse and running on the South boundary to the land of James Lawrence authority on land said Amy Lawrence & on the East side by the land of Samuel [illegible] I do moreover all the said land have and Bargained Conveyed with the priviledges and appurtenances thereof to the same the said Poly Sucken and his heirs and assigns forever and in the said Moses Stanton for myself heirs successors and administrators do covenant and with said Poly Sucken and his assigns and declare that I have lawful seisin of the piece of land say that they are free from all incumbrances and that I have good right to sell and convey the same to said Poly Sucken and his heirs as aforesaid and that I warrant and defend the same to said Poly Sucken and his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims of all other persons. The Conditions of the above written deed is that the said Poly Sucken land conveyed the day and date above noted be given now by the said Poly Sucken to be held until such time as the said Poly shall have some part of of the land to be exchanged what land convey to said Poly Sucken bearing some date with this present is known as the East side land Now that Obligation is to be void Therefore to remain on part for and virtue In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 29th day of May 1843 Signed sealed delivered and delivered in presence of Genius G.
