At Richmond August 15th 1843. Before me personally appear the within
named Thomas He Herble, Alexander Hopper, and Elizabeth Harris, and their
attys aka Assignees the within Indenture & Instrument & them subscribed; to better execute
it in act more due

Personally came Before me the within named Richard Lathrop and acknowledged
the within Instrument & signature to be his executory act and deed and seal

This Indenture made the Eleventh day of July in the year of our Lord
one Thousand Eight hundred and forty two Between Richard Emmerson and Alice
his wife of the Town of East Greenwich, County of Kent, and State of Rhode
Island of the First Part And the C. bounded Practicing in Providence County
State of Rhode Island of the Second Part Witnesseth that the said Parties of the first
part for and in Consideration of the sum of Ten Copers Dollars and Quit Claim to
convey to them and to her heirs and assigns of the said Parties of the second part That all that
piece of land lying bounded as follows, said Lot bounds, Alice Harris, Adelaide
Alan and boundaries, and to her heirs and assigns of the said Parties of the second part
also and forever, unto the said Parties of the second part their heirs and assigns forever
now being, and there to have and here to have and assigns forever all those right title and Interest
to on the Certain piece, or parcel of land, situate and lying in the Town of Clan
bidon & State of Rhode Island a product, and a boundary as follows Provided
by the Parcelled there situated in the Providence County, bounded by
M. Crandall, land and boundaries, by Ezra Deacon, et al, land adjoining now to the boundary
of Ezra Deacon Lathrop being the joint of Course Lathrop, deceased on the whole he
together with all the angles boundaries and appurtenances thereunto belonging
as in any appertaining and all the buildings and appurtenances thereunto belonging
now there and appertaining and all the Rights Interests, titles, estates, interests,
and dormant inheritance of the said Parties of the first part either in law or Equity, in a Capacity, of in
and to the Alon boundaries provided with the Tenements and appurtenances
I Hereby and also the Land boundaries provided with the Tenements and appurtenances
to have and hold the Land boundaries provided with the Tenements and appurtenances
to the heirs and assigns to the heirs and assigns to the heirs and assigns to the heirs and assigns
parties of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, and the said Richard Emmerson
and Alice his wife of the first part for themselves and their Heirs, Successors and assigns
waives to Convey grant bargain promise agree and covenant with the said Parties of the
Second Part his heirs and assigns the also land boundaries promised and every part and
parcel thereof in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said Parties of the second part
his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming to a
Right to the whole or any part of the said premises with force and defend
on my behalf the said Parties of the second part however their Heirs and their Day
and Heir first after said heirs’ Legacy, Signed Sealed Delivered and executed in presence of
Law of New York
Alice Along boundaries
On the 18th day July 1843 Personally
came Appearance, Richard Emmerson and Alice he my first to me known to be the same
Persons described in and who executed the within deed and acknowledged that they
executed the same and the said Alice being examined separate and apart from her
Husband acknowledged that she executed the same freely without any fear or Compulsion
from her Husband
