written deed to be their free voluntary act and deed have and shall be their officer

Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Stanton of Charlestown
born in the County of Middlesex and State of New Hampshire do grant and convey for Consideration
of the sum of one hundred Dollars received hereby me a full and sufficient receipt of Sam Smith
of Carolina in the County of Kent and State of Rhode Island the next wife of the hereby
acknowledge to be my only grant and convey bargain sell and convey unto the said Sam Smith
and his heirs and assigns forever a certain piece of land situated on a piece of land attached on
said Charlestown at a New House called Bentleys Corner bounding by Hamiltons boundary line from
and to the same line more or less and bounded by Samuel Bentleys boundary line from
which the Corner is found measuring along the line of Poly Boyd’s boundary line towards the south
