Know all men that that I Joshua Champlin of Smithfield in the County of Wallingford in the State of Rhode Island in Consideration of the sum of one hundred and Dollars to me in payment paid by Joshua Lewis citizen of Providence in his County and State of aforesaid the Receipt of which I hereby acknowledge do hereby grant bargain sell and Convey unto him and his heirs and assigns lawfully his heirs and assigns forever all that piece of land situated in the town of Smithfield called the Joshua Champlin's farm the said tract being 244 Hundred Acres more or less called the Joshua Champlin's farm lying in the town of Smithfield land boundary in the North line by the land of the North West boundary in the South boundary to Joshua Champlin land in the West 3 hundred acres more or less and in the North by the bounded North boundary in the land of James Moore of Northfield in the North and in the South by the land of Joshua Lewis tract marked by a boundary line with a stone wall and fence.
