KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That I, RICHARD A. RATHBONE, of the Town of Charlestown, Washington County, Rhode Island (hereinafter called the mortgagor) in consideration of ONE THOUSAND AND 00/100 ($1000.00 Dollars, to be paid by WAKEFIELD TRUST COMPANY, a corporation created by the General Assembly of the State of Rhode Island, and transacting business in the Town of South Kingstown, County of Washington, in said state, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto said Wakefield Trust Company, its successors and assigns forever:
One certain parcel of land containing 50 acres, more or less, with the buildings and other improvements thereon, bounded northerly by said land now or lately of John Williams et al; easterly by land now or lately of said Williams and by the Post Road; southerly by the Post Road, and westerly by land now or lately of said Williams and of Frank W. Arnold and [?] brook and pond. Being the premises which were conveyed to William B. Rathbone in separate deeds dated April 16, 1924, May 14, 1924, August 7, 1924, and November 28, 1924 Book 21 at pages 308, 311, 317 and 361, respectively. Excepting therefrom said conveyance to Alice M. O'Hare, a triangular parcel of land of approximately four acres fronting on said Post Road and measuring approximately 300 feet or less, the southerly and westerly boundaries of said parcel extending northwesterly and northeasterly, respectively, in curved line to a point 300 feet from the Post Road, less, distant from the center of the south line, conveyed to Alice M. O'Hare.
Also a tract of wood land containing twenty-three and three-quarters (23-3/4) acres and ten (10) square rods, more or less, being lots 8 and 9 on plat of division of real estate of Sarah Perry, deceased; said land being recorded in Deed Book 8 at page 160 in the office of the Town Clerk of said Town of Charlestown, and later conveyed to said Richard A. William B. Rathbone by deed dated August 7, 1924, and recorded in the Records of Deeds of said Town of Charlestown in Book 21 at page 327.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, unto and to the use of said WAKEFIELD TRUST COMPANY, its successors and assigns, forever.
And I, the said mortgagor do hereby, for myself and for my heirs, executors, and ad-

above named RICHARD A. RATHBONE to me known and known by me to be the party executing the
foregoing instrument, and he acknowledged said instrument, by him executed, to be his free act
and deed.
